JIMMY BUFFETT CONCERTLESS TAILGATE PARTY #10
The Farewell Tour
Saturday, September 16 #LE1701
It’s not too early to make plans for September! Turn to page 9 of your 2017 calendars, go to block 16, and write in “I’m going to the Buffett Concertless Tailgate party today!”
Enjoy the atmosphere of a Buffett concert tailgate party at this early afternoon to evening party on a 15-acre farm in Durham County. The heart of the party is the Parrot God Challenge — a type of treasure hunt with a Buffett theme. Search for 8 shrines, each with a treat and clues to help you find the next shrine, with the goal of finding the Temple of the Parrot god.
Provided: Buffett and Caribbean music, cheeseburgers (with you bringing a dish to share), soft drinks, blenders for your libations, door prizes, and loads of fun and surprises along the Parrot God Challenge.
If you’ve been to the party before, it’s worth coming again because this will be the last opportunity to take part in this one-of-a-kind event. In fact, work is already underway to make the final Jimmy Buffett Concertless Tailgate Party even MORE than what you may have experienced before. This is one event you don’t want to miss, and you don’t have to be a Buffett fan to enjoy it. Sign-ups will begin at the July club meeting.
Coordinators: Frank and Shirley Clemmensen
